Kick off the end of your work week with some fresh air and friendly competition! Join us at Donaldson Park in Highland Park for a casual, open-play FREE pickleball social. Whether you are looking to blow off some steam after a long day at the office or just want to meet active people in the community, this is the place to be.

What to Expect:

  • Casual Open Play: This is a non-competitive, social environment. We use a "paddle-in" rotation system if the courts are full.
  • All Skill Levels: Beginners are always welcome! If you’ve never played, there is usually someone happy to show you the ropes.
  • Community Focus: We prioritize respect and humanity on and off the court. No aggressive attitudes—just good games and good company.

What to Bring:

  • Paddle & Balls: Please bring your own gear (Paddles and balls) if you have it. You can borrow for $5 (I will have a few extra paddles for those just starting out).
  • Proper Footwear: Athletic court shoes are required for your safety.
  • Water: Stay hydrated!

The Courts:
Donaldson Park features 6 dedicated pickleball courts located near the river. These courts are fully netted to ensure that the wind does not interfere with our play. A full bathroom is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk away. Beyond the courts, it is a beautiful park with plenty of space for walking and biking.

Please note that these are public courts and are first-come, first-served. We will do our best to secure space, but some waiting/rotation should be expected during peak hours.

RSVP Policy:
Please keep your RSVP updated! If you cannot make it, change your status so others can plan accordingly. As a reminder, I maintain a Two Strike Rule for no-shows to keep our events organized and fair for everyone.

New to Pickleball?
You’re more than welcome! If you just want to socialize, you are also invited. Many attendees are beginners, and others are usually happy to help you learn and get into a game. No experience needed—just come with a good attitude.
