Singles 55 and over — Friday night in Somerset, NJ. Good food, cold drinks, and an easy room full of people your age.

Friday, September 18 · 6:30–8:30pm · Stage House Tavern, Somerset
This is a tavern, not a nightclub. No dance floor, no shouting over a DJ. There maybe a live band. Just a warm room, a full bar, the games on the TVs, and forty-something single men and women in their 50s, 60s and 70s who came out for the same reason you did.

It's a Friday night, the games will be on, the fish fry is $21.95 all-you-can-eat, and the room will be full of women in your age range who came out to meet someone. Nobody stands up and gives a speech. Nobody puts you on the spot. Show up, get a beer, see what happens. There maybe a game playing.

How the night runs

• 6:30 — Come in, grab a drink, get a name tag. Come early if you want to catch the game.
• 7:00 — Quick introductions in small groups, so nobody's standing alone. No standing up in front of the room, no sharing circle.
• 7:15 — Open mingling, dinner, conversation. This is most of the night.
• 8:00 — Prize drawings.

Friday Night Fish Fry — $21.95

All-you-can-eat fish and chips with house-cut fries, coleslaw, tartar sauce and lemon. Completely optional — order it, order something else off the menu, or just come for a drink. Food and drinks are on your own tab.

Who's coming
Single men and single women 55+ from across Central Jersey — Somerset, Somerville, Bridgewater, Franklin Township, Hillsborough, Piscataway, Edison, Manville, Green Brook and nearby. Divorced, widowed, never married, newly single, single for fifteen years — all equally welcome. Come by yourself or bring a friend.

Bring a single friend along and you both get an extra raffle entry at the door. If you know a good guy who's been meaning to get out more, this is the night to drag him along.

Details
Casual dress — jeans are fine. Free parking. Ground-floor entrance. Prizes and door raffles all evening. If you'd rather not introduce yourself to anyone, tell us at the door and we'll do it for you — that's not a line, we actually do it.

Important Policies
Weather & Rain Date Policy: This event may be postponed or rescheduled due to rain, severe weather, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond the organizers’ control. If the event is postponed, all tickets will automatically transfer to the announced rain date or rescheduled date. Refunds will not be issued if a ticket holder is unable to attend the new date. If the event is canceled by the organizers and no replacement date is scheduled, attendees will be contacted regarding available options.

Neither Yes We Thryve, NJ Singles, Catholic Singles NJ, nor their organizers, volunteers, instructors, venues, or hosts shall be responsible for any injury, illness, loss, theft, or property damage occurring during or in connection with the event, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Photography and Consent: Photos and videos may be taken during the event for marketing, promotional, and community purposes. By attending, you consent to the use of your image in future promotions. Please notify an organizer at the event if you prefer not to be photographed or recorded.
