Panhandle Floating

Details
A Properly fitted and fastened PFD will be mandatory at all times while paddling, during the spring adventure swim at your own risk!
Holmes creek -
Friday: Cotton to Fanning = 7.5m Planning for this to be a shorter paddle so we can spend some significant time in Crystal springs. If you’ve never seen this, have you even lived? Bring whatever it takes to get you In the water: swim suit/wetsuit/drysuit/snorkel - you won’t be sorry! Pretty sure there’s a rope swing as well for those thrill seekers.
Saturday - TBD It will be a longer run ~12 miles on the lower Holmes, some of the less populated, more nature filled part of the creek. I’ll update this detail after discussions with the outfitter and potentially paddling it.

Sunday - Chipola creek - Yancy to Magnolia = 10 miles, planning to set aside some extra time to explore the ovens and Mauld spring. The ovens is a dry cave accessible by water only, bring a BRIGHT light! Entry and exit from water to cave can be tricky but so worth the challenge!
BASE CAMP will be at Falling Waters State Park - I would highly recommend gettin your spot reserved now as this is a smaller park that books up fast - as of today there are 10 available spots for our dates. We will be in site 24.
They will allow 2 tents per site for those that wanna share.
