Summer Sawdust Art Festival in Laguna Beach

Calling art lovers. The 59th season of the Sawdust Art Festival is opening soon. Let us enjoy the work of over 180 local artists while listening to a live band. It is a very small festival so afterward we can walk next door to the Laguna Beer Company and grab some lunch. Or we can walk a mile towards the beach and eat elsewhere if we're up for the walk.

The area gets busy with parking being difficult. There are many lots along Laguna Canyon and the laguna trolley stops at many of these lots. At Lot 16, for example, the Laguna Beach trolley will pick you up and drop you off near the festival. Lot 10 is the closest to the festival.

The Sawdust Art Festival is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating the public and promoting the art created in Laguna Beach. Since its inception, the Sawdust Art Festival has celebrated and supported the work of local artists.

For nine weeks throughout the summer months, the Sawdust Art Festival draws more than 200,000 visitors worldwide each year, invited to shop along sawdust-covered paths through a handcrafted village of fine arts and superb craftsmanship. Visitors come to enjoy unique artwork, live entertainment on three stages, eye-catching artist demonstrations, hands-on art workshops for all ages, and delicious food and drink.
