What we’re about
Welcome Beach Cities Writing Group! Whether you're working on a novel, memoir, short story, or any other type of writing, this group will meet for two hours of solid, silent writing followed by chatting, socializing, sharing tips and advice about publishing, marketing, query letter writing, how to write a synopsis, tips and elevator pitches. We can share pages to critique or not: it's a group tailored to the needs of the members. All residents of cities near a beach are invited. This distinguishes us from other writing groups that are further away, like the OC Writers in Mission Viejo and Laguna Hills. This is a great opportunity to stay cool, write in a coffee shop environment, and collaborate with other writers striving to publish or to finish unfinished projects. We'll meet once a week to start, Wednesday mornings for 3 hours at a coffee shop to be determined. Any and all suggestions for coffee shops would be appreciated. So if you're in Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar, Huntington Beach, Seal Beach, Los Alamitos, or any other beach city, and if you have a favorite place to hang out and get some writing done, please contact me so that we can choose our location.
