Were the 9/11 planes CGI (Computer Generated Imagery)?

Did anyone present at the time actually see a plane hit either of the Twin Towers? Or were the planes only visible on television? We shall be meeting at the Towan Blystra, Newquay, Table 11 to discuss this question. All opinions are welcome. No fee will be charged. A free drink will be offered by the host to all who attend.
