Talk with Pascal Rogiest, VP, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions of SES S.A.

The main topic of the talk are sales, M+A and the status of the industry. From the sales perspective, we will chat about Pascal's experience winning clients, addressing Requests for Proposals, Do and Don't, and communicating risks. From an M+A view, the topics include the valuation process, sources of value, and risks of the transactions. Finally, Pascal will comment on the opportunities and challenges of the industry.

Pascal Rogiest, PhD, is the Vice-President, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and Portfolio Management of SES S.A., one of the world-leading satellite operators, that provides reliable and secure satellite communications solutions to broadcast, telecom, corporate and government customers worldwide.

Pascal has an electro-mechanical & aerospace engineering background up to Ph.D. level.
In his current position, Pascal is responsible for management of equity-participations in SES subsidiaries, economic analyses related to SES corporate development/strategy, corporate development and innovation funding. Pascal has also performed several functions during his career, including business development, sales, strategic planning and corporate finance. Pascal is very interested in building strong human relationships and bonds with customers and partners, and to manage and motivate teams and individuals.
