Every startup has a deck. The question is: How are you feeling about yours?
Join Boston New Technology for the inaugural edition of Deck Doctors, a new bi-weekly workshop dedicated to helping founders strengthen the presentations that power their startups.
This is the urgent care clinic episode — no filling out forms necessary, just come as you are. Try the virtual coffee and bagels.
Whether you're preparing an investor deck, customer presentation, partnership proposal, pitch competition deck, sales presentation, or executive one-pager, Deck Doctors provides a collaborative environment where experienced founders, operators, and startup leaders work together to diagnose strengths, uncover weaknesses, and recommend practical improvements.
Unlike traditional pitch practice, this session focuses on the deck itself. Together, we'll examine narrative flow, product positioning, customer understanding, go-to-market strategy, evidence, audience alignment, messaging, and overall effectiveness. The goal isn't simply to make slides look better—it's to ensure your deck communicates the right story to the right audience and inspires the action you intend.
Each session features a small number of founders to allow for thoughtful, in-depth feedback. Presenters will have dedicated time to walk the group through their deck, followed by a structured diagnostic discussion and actionable recommendations. Everyone attending benefits by learning from real startup challenges and real-world examples.
We also encourage founders to leverage AI before attending. AI is an outstanding tool for improving structure, clarity, and presentation quality. Deck Doctors builds on that foundation by bringing human judgment, startup experience, product strategy, and ecosystem perspective into the review process. Our hypothesis is simple: the strongest founders combine AI-assisted preparation with expert human feedback.
During this inaugural session we'll explore:

  • Investor and fundraising decks
  • Customer and sales presentations
  • Partnership decks
  • Pitch competition decks
  • Executive one-pagers
  • Common startup communication pitfalls
  • Practical strategies for making every slide work harder

Whether you're presenting or observing, you'll leave with ideas you can immediately apply to your own venture.
Bring your deck. Bring your questions. Leave with a diagnosis, a care plan —and a stronger business case.
