Here are the details on the September event coming up:

Franchising has made the most millionaires in the USA, and yet it’s surrounded with many myths. We’re hosting a free, in-person event for you to meet directly with the most innovative franchise brands. Whether you want to be an owner-operator, a multi-unit franchisee, or an investor, you’ll meet with the right people to tap into this powerful wealth-building engine.

📣 Format
5 most competitive franchises present for 5 minutes, then answer questions from the judges and audience for 3 minutes, followed by networking to connect directly with franchisors. Food and drinks served.

🚀 Why Attend?
Corporate or Tech Professionals find ways to escape the corporate world through business ownership.

Investors & Founders connect directly with tech-first passive investment
franchises.

  • Top 1% of highest earners in the US aren’t investment bankers or tech entrepreneurs- they are small business owners (According to this WSJ post titled Stealthy Wealthy). Franchising is the most accessible and risk-adjusted way for becoming an SMB owner.

There are tons of untapped opportunities for building real wealth in the service sectors. HVACs, chicken, laundromats and home services might be unsexy, but they’re often cash machines that produce sustained long-term profits.

  • SBA Loans from the government finance 80-90% of the franchise startup costs. That means you only have to put down 10-20% in cash, significantly reducing the barrier to entry to franchising. This isn’t the case with startups or finance, but the SBA is on the franchisee's side. They are the small business owners holding America together.

You’re thinking: “Show me examples!” Here are some:

  • Bolade was a Credit Suisse banker. He switched to being a franchisee of Sandbox VR, a VR gaming company. Full story here.
  • Dean was a rocket scientist and now owns 5 hair salons of Fantastic Sams. Full story here.
  • Neil Finnerman & Chevonne Woodard: in regular life they would probably never cross paths. Neil was a hedge fund manager and Chevonne a government official. But they’re both home services franchisees. Full story here.
  • Jacob Lee was an MBA BCG consultant. He quit to launch and operate a portfolio of Scenthound pet grooming franchises. Full story here.
  • Ben Little was a trader, now runs a $55M portfolio of Zaxby’s. Full story here.

Henry Anderson played in the NFL for 9 years. He is now a multi-unit franchisee of Playa Bowls. Full story here
