Newton Abbot to Bovey Tracey walk via Stover cycle path

Join us for an enjoyable & leisurely walk from Newton Abbot to Bovey Tracey via the Stover Cycle Path. This level and accessible trail takes you through some glorious countryside and wildlife hotspots, plus the well known Stover Country Park. See below link for the exact route;

We'll start at Newton Abbot Railway Station and follow the route along its entirety, which is approximately 6 miles. Once we reach Bovey Tracey, a charming town on the edge of Dartmoor, we can take some time to explore and stop for some drinks / snacks. Bovey is particularly well served for coffee spots, including the excellent cycling themed Cafe 360.

For the return journey, we'll aim to catch the bus back to Newton Abbot. Stagecoach South West and Country Bus operate routes 39, 178, and 193 between both towns, with the journey typically taking around 20-30 minutes.
