Short Court Doubles Championships

We invite you to play in the Short Court Doubles Championships at Longfellow Health Club Wellesley (MA), 3-6 PM Sunday, February 23.

The tournament is doubles only so you will need to find a partner.

This event is meant to be fun and not overly competitive.

Why short court tennis? To keep his regular tennis game sharp during the Pandemic, Hall of Fame Harvard tennis coach and FoNT advisor Dave Fish picked up "short court" (aka Spec) tennis. With indoor and outdoor tennis courts closed, he played Spec tennis in parking garages, on parking lots, on driveways and on backboards in the Boston area.

And now the short court game is catching fire!

Sign up now as we have a limited number of spots on a first-come, first serve basis. We supply paddles and balls.

The $25 entry fee covers all court and Longfellow Club visitor fees.

Open to all ages and levels:
- novice - UTR 1-3
- Intermediate - UTR 3-6
- advanced UTR 6-13.

We will have prizes and gift cards for winners.
