Train Ride to NYC & the Iconic Christmas Tree

We will meet at the Hamilton, NJ train station and take the 10:19am train into NY Penn Station (get to the station early as the parking garage may be busy). We can meet inside the train station (I'll be there by 10:00am) Be self-reliant and resourceful by using Maps or Waze to find your way to the train station. Google ahead if you have questions about the parking/train station. Wear your sneakers or comfy shoes as we will be walking all day, around the city. We can walk to Herald Square, Times Square, the holiday markets in Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, Central Park, etc. This will be a casual day to explore the Christmas festivities so bring your easy-going attitude, patience for the crowds and your gratitude for just being outside, wandering in the wonders of the city during the holiday season. We can decide as a group if we just want slices of pizza or we find a diner/pub for some grub. Bring an over the shoulder bag or small backpack if you would like to bring drink/snacks. As a group we can all decide how long we would like to stay in the city but of course, anyone can leave at any time to go back to Penn Station and home. Download the NJ Transit app to purchase your tickets prior (do not activate them until we are at the station/on the train). If you need assistance, I will support you when we gather around 10am the day of the event. Dress warmly but in layers as we may work up a sweat walking around, if the weather is relatively mild.
