Walk the Meadows Preserve with the Connect Edgmont Community!

This is our first cooperative event with "Connect Edgmont" ~ a terrific group of Edgmont residents who also love trails, parks, and greenspace! Come network with new friends!

We'll gather at the 1742 Tavern (parking is available there, and at Newtown Square Presbyterian Church, just across 252).

Our walk will take us along the Liseter Trail (which is macadam) to the Meadows Preserve (which is, you know, a meadow). This loop will be approximately 3 /12 miles total, and does involve some grassy slopes, etc. Please wear appropriate boots or sneakers, and sunscreen!

After the hike, we are invited to visit the historic Tavern (also known as the John Smith house) and learn about the lifestyles of our predecessors in the 1700s and 1800s. Hope to see you there!
