Hike from The Paper Mill House to Skunk Hollow!
Details
Happy New Year! We feel supercharged over a gorgeous new hike that will span two townships!
We’ll start at the historic 1828 stone Paper Mill House & Museum in Newtown Township, hike along wooded paths and beautiful Darby Creek, to Skunk Hollow Park in Radnor Township - and then back again - on Sunday, January 29th at 2pm.
This exciting @ 3 & 1/2 mile trail can be challenging. Tree roots, muddy spots, inclines, etc. Be sure to come prepared with sturdy, non-slip boots / footwear, warm clothes (layers are good) and a fully charged phone to take photos of the inspiring scenery.
FYI - you’ll meet people walking their dogs on the multiple trails in Skunk Hollow, so be ready to greet many pups enjoying the day too.
Also! We are grateful that the Newtown Square Historic Society has graciously offered to open up the Paper Mill specifically for us! It’s a fabulous place to explore, with a museum and
an 1850’s-era general store. Check out their website at https://nshistory.org/pmh
Looking forward to a great time with you, Trails & Greenways friends!!
