From island architecture and urban skylines to national parks shaped by time, America tells its story through places as bold and varied as the people who built them. How do these diverse natural and manmade environments come together to shape a uniquely American identity? It’s time to embark on a sweeping journey uncovering the architecture, culture, and character that define the United States across its most remarkable landscapes.

Join New York Adventure Club as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday with an epic 10-part series exploring a curated selection of stories, influences, and environments that have shaped the nation’s most iconic places. In Part Three: The National Parks, we’ll explore how nature itself acts as the ultimate architect, shaping landscapes of extraordinary scale, beauty, and complexity over millions of years.

Led by tour guide Kelsey Betzelberger, this experience — featuring plenty of firsthand photo and video walkthroughs, intriguing anecdotes, and expert insights — will include:

  • Yosemite’s granite icons and waterfalls — explore El Capitan, Half Dome, and cascading falls that define one of the most dramatic landscapes in the country
  • Yellowstone’s geothermal systems — witness Old Faithful, colorful hot springs, and the dynamic ecosystem shaped by the earth’s internal forces
  • The Grand Canyon’s geological layers — examine vast canyon views revealing millions of years of natural history through shifting light and color
  • Zion and Antelope Canyon’s sculpted forms — walk through towering sandstone cliffs and flowing canyon walls shaped by erosion and light
  • A cross-section of America’s natural diversity — from Rocky Mountain peaks to Redwood forests, Death Valley extremes, Great Smoky Mountains, Crater Lake, and Joshua Tree

Afterward, we'll have a Q&A with Kelsey — any and all questions are welcomed and encouraged!
