Happy Hour at the Rubin - No Cover

Join us for the great no cover after-work Happy Hour which includes free admission to the museum. We will have a private section by the DJ booth for our multiple Meetup groups that are joining us. There are 2 for 1 Drink specials from 6-7PM and the event usually last until 9PM.

If you have never been to the museum, this is truly a great social and cultural event that you don't want to miss! More info on the current exhibit "Gateway to Himalayan Art" introduces visitors to the main forms, concepts, and meanings of Himalayan art represented in our collection. A large multimedia map orients the visitors and highlights cultural regions of a diverse Himalayan cultural sphere that includes parts of present day India, China, Nepal, Bhutan, and Mongolia. Visitors are invited to explore exemplary objects from the Museum’s collection, organized and presented in thematic sections: Figures and Symbols, Materials and Techniques, and Purpose and Function.
