ART SUMMER RETREAT WEEK in Amsterdam.

Imagine, a full immersion creative week adventure in Amsterdam this summer! Discover COLOR through ART in this magical, historical city of Amsterdam.

We will start each morning by getting our hands dirty by CREATING with a guided adventure in color session at the studio. In the afternoon you are free to choose from the list of endless possibilities! The studio is situated in the heart of Amsterdam with lots of restaurants and eateries in every direction.

The morning courses 10:00-1:00pm will take place at Atelier Molenpad, the historic artist studio located in the heart of Amsterdam. (There are 6 morning courses in this week.) Topics include:

rituals that awaken the creative energy,
adventures in color
Intuitive painting
Expressive painting
layering techniques
making your own paints
inspiration from the figure
movement
voice activation
etc
The afternoon 1:30-6:00pm is open to:

being inspired and drawing/ painting in the studio space
reflection and mediation on the grass in the nearby Vondelpark
gaining inspiration from museums around town (a museum card can be purchased)
Van Gogh Museum
The newly opened Rijksmusum (Rembrant, Vermeer)
Stedelijk Museum (Modern Art)
Anne Frank House
Touring the famous Amsterdam Art Galleries
pampering body treatments (massage, acupuncture, sensory deprivation tanks- all by appointment)
Leisurely strolls around the boutiques in the Jordaan area around the studio
Food and sweets around town
Boat excursions on the canals
bicycle tours of town
Visiting other famous sites in Holland

For those visiting from out of town, accommodation is diverse and up to each individual. The studio is centrally located, at Molenpad 17D, 1016GLAmsterdam (corner of Prinsengracht and Molenpad) If you are looking for a roommate, I can match participants up. here is a list of recommended places to look:

This will be a week to awaken your senses and focus on yourself. These experiences are put together so that we can connect deeply to our selves. And listen to what are guides have to tell us.

Fees for the full week are 310 euro. This includes local 21% tax. Paint materials are not included and can be brought by you or easily purchased at art supply stores nearby.

Individual classes will be given by guest docents and Daniella Rubinovitz. There will be lots of time for you to nurture and connect deeply to your self. The studio setting is all wooden, carrying with it a superb energy for balance within your soul. Gain insights by allowing your subconscious to visually emerge out of your consciousness.
