Spend an evening with Aafrin, founder of Afreenz Mehndi, for an introduction to the art of henna, exploring its cultural roots, traditional techniques, and modern interpretations. Through a hands-on workshop, you will learn about the art of mehndi and practice creating your own designs using real henna cones, with plenty of room to experiment, get creative, and discover the craft for yourselves.
About Aafrin:
What started as a hobby in 2013 has grown into Afreenz Mehndi, a henna artistry business that began in India and is now making its mark in New York City. With over a decade of experience, Aafrin blends traditional mehndi techniques with her signature modern, intricate, and calligraphic designs. An architect and urban designer educated in India and the UK, she brings a thoughtful design perspective to her craft, creating henna experiences that celebrate creativity, culture, and connection.
