💻 ABOUT THE HACKATHON

By joining the initiative, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside industry leaders and experts in a creative and dynamic environment at Deutsches Museum in Munich, where you can collaborate, network, and gain hands-on experience.

The Hackathon is centered around addressing three key challenges:

・Supporting Sustainable Infrastructure Development: Leverage EU space technology for better energy, communication, and transportation systems, ensuring access to essential services and driving economic growth for a brighter future
・Strengthening Food Security & Access to Clean Water: Use EU space technology to optimise land use, forecast yields, enhance supply chains and monitor water sources for enhanced food security & clean water access worldwide.
・Understanding and Forecasting Forced Migration: Apply EU space technology to reveal climate change impacts on coastlines, rural areas, and population movement. Design and deliver effective humanitarian assistance for affected communities worldwide.

To get started, simply register for the German edition of the CASSINI Hackathon on TAIKAI, the matching platform for this Hackathon. There you can add your skills to your profile – such as coding, data science, design, business, or other expertise – to be easily found by existing projects or teams that are lacking your knowledge.
