# The Programme for Changemakers: Empower Innovation. Shape the Future.

N3XTCODER is launching the second edition of AI for Impact, a 6-week acceleration programme designed to unlock the potential of AI for the common good. This initiative brings together social impact organizations, public institutions, and leading AI experts with the goal of developing functional AI solutions and prototypes that drive real-world impact.
From climate action to democracy, health and education, the programme offers an intensive learning journey on the practical application of AI.

• Join by: 30th March
• Start Date: 3rd April online
• Duration: 6 weeks

Explore the challenges, pick one that suits your skills and interests, then join a diverse team working together and remotely on a solution! Present your team's solution in May at re:publica 25.

### Transforming Digital Family Support in Germany

• Challenge: Online counseling is effective but very manual causing delays in matters that need direct support with children and teenagers.
• Challenge Partner: Elternleben.de is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support, guidance, and expert knowledge that parents need.
• Goal: Develop an AI-powered chatbot that will reduce waiting times, streamline access to information, and free up experts for complex cases.
• Open for: AI/ML Engineers, Backend & Frontend Developers, UI/UX/Service Designers, Solution Architects, Innovators passionate about family well-being, AI, and ethical technology.

#### Circular Construction in Germany

• Challenge: The construction industry drives 40% of global CO₂ emissions and generates over 30% of waste.
• Challenge Partner: Bundesinstitut für Bau-, Stadt- und Raumforschung (BBSR)
• Goal: Create an AI-enabled MVP that streamlines the assessment of circular materials in building components, promoting sustainable architecture and reducing environmental impact.
• Open for: Architects, engineers, and sustainability specialists, Data scientists and AI/ML experts, UX designers and product developers, Enthusiasts passionate about climate change and innovation.
