October Volunteer Event - NextGen Orlando!

🐶Volunteer with Next Gen Orlando at Doglando Foundation!🐶

Volunteers will be assembling puppy enrichment activities that volunteers and fosters can check out to play with the puppies and dogs in Doglando Foundation's care.

Doglando Foundation will have some options as to how we can help. That way you can do what is most meaningful to you and choose how involved you would like to get. Everyone will get a chance to play with the puppies and parents they have.

They will have a few different "stations" to move through. Some may require change of clothes or appropriate clothing. We recommend sneakers and athletic wear, preferably clothes you do not care about if you choose to paint and a rash guard if you choose to swim.

Station 1 - Paracord Long Lines
This station will braid paracord into a long line. It is a 15ft leash that future adopters will take home with them when they adopt their dog. This gives the dogs more freedom of choice and space while giving the parent some level of control.

Station 2 - Swimming with the Pups
Volunteers will get a chance to learn how to properly introduce puppies to the pool. This will require a change of clothes and swim gear. We do recommend rash guards or long sleeve swim top, as they will be holding the pups.

Station 3 - Beautifying the Den
We will be painting the inside of the Den, that is where the puppies and parents reside when they are with us. It won’t be a lot of painting but for those that want to get a bit messy and put their fingerprints on the Den this will be fun!
