What we’re about
NextSpace provides a professional yet comfortable workspace, plus a rockin' community for freelancers, entrepreneurs, developers, designers, consultants, coaches, lawyers, and anyone who might otherwise be working from home or trying to work from a coffee shop.
NextSpace was founded on the premise that we are smarter as a group, and by creating not just the space for people to work but also a sense of community, an ecology of success develops. As one of our members put it, "My startup is a year ahead on it's development because of the connections and resources available at NextSpace."

Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Future Forum episode 4 | Circularity & WasteNextSpace Coworking Santa Cruz - Powered by Pacific Workplaces, Santa Cruz, CA
Join co-hosts, Fifer Garbesi & NextSpace Member of the Month Chris Cogan, for an inspiring evening of community visioning, dialogue, and action, featuring Waste Free Santa Cruz and the City of Santa Cruz.
We’ll come together to explore how we can shift toward a circular economy — one where materials are reused, repurposed, and regenerated — and reduce waste across our city. From plastics and packaging to food systems and resource recovery, we'll examine the barriers and opportunities to creating a truly waste-free Santa Cruz.
With insights from local leaders, we'll envision bold solutions, share ideas, and chart actionable next steps toward building a more resilient, regenerative community.
Come learn, collaborate, and help shape the future of a circular Santa Cruz.
Future Forum exists to support the Monterey Bay Area in building resilience and regeneration through education, engagement, and action.
