Have you heard of the Koenji Awa Odori festival?🏮 It’s a traditional dance event from Tokushima that has been held in Koenji, Tokyo, since 1957. Every year, about one million people come to watch the dancers parade through the streets💃🥁 You can enjoy the sound of Japanese drums and experience a unique part of Japanese culture🇯🇵 The festival gets very crowded, so it’s a good idea to come early✨

Time Schedule:
5:00PM: Meeting Place
5:00PM - 6:30PM: Watching the Awa Odori Dance Performance
20 minutes walk
7:00PM: Closing at the Koenji Station South Square, where there are many food stands.

The admission fees are as follows:

• New homies: 1200 yen
• Homies that have been with us before: 700 yen
