Date and Time: 2 PM on Saturday February 15, 2025
Location: Burlington Public Library - Alton Branch

Over the years, our Meetup has delved deeply into the complexities of fear, anger, and trauma, dedicating individual sessions to each. Now, for the first time, we are bringing these powerful emotions together into a single, integrated session. Join us on February 15, 2025, for a holistic exploration of these interconnected emotions and discover how understanding them together can open new pathways for growth, healing, and resilience.

In this unique session, we’ll examine:

  • The Interconnection of Emotions: How fear, trauma, and anger influence and feed into each other, shaping our emotional landscape.
  • Practical Tools for Regulation: Techniques to manage these emotions holistically rather than in isolation.
  • Self-Discovery: Insights into what these emotions reveal about our deepest needs, boundaries, and values.
  • Building Resilience: How understanding the relationship between these emotions can help us develop greater emotional strength and stability.
  • Healing and Connection: Strategies to process these emotions to foster inner peace and improve relationships with others.

This session is ideal for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of their emotional world—whether for personal growth, improved relationships, or a renewed sense of balance. By addressing these emotions as part of a larger whole, you’ll gain new perspectives on how to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and compassion.

Whether you attended our earlier sessions or are joining us for the first time, this event offers something for everyone.

Spots are limited, so reserve your spot to explore the dynamics of fear, trauma, and anger in a way that fosters healing, understanding, and transformation. Let’s embark on this journey together!

A Note About Emotions and Trauma
During our meetups, it's natural for members to experience and express strong emotions, which we fully embrace and accept. However, it's crucial to differentiate between sharing emotions and processing deep trauma within the group. While the line between these two may sometimes be blurred, they are distinct phenomena. Our group is comprised of compassionate, wise individuals who are capable of holding space for others' strong emotions. Therefore, we encourage you to express your emotions openly. However, our group isn't currently equipped or designed to address trauma in real-time. If you are experiencing a major life crisis and/or you want to process your trauma, it is best to do so with a trained professional. The danger of doing it in a group setting with strangers is that you can retraumatize yourself and others and not receive the adequate support you need.
