  1. Angular dive in

Angular is one of the most popular frameworks to create web application. In this 30-minute talk you will learn about how to get started with Angular and what are the topics you should focus on while mastering the Angular. In the talk you will learn to create components, use directives, and to use a REST API to create data driven component.

Dhananjay Kumar is a trainer and consultant from India. He is a published author, a well-known speaker, a Google Developer Expert, and a winner of 10 times the Microsoft MVP Award.

He is the founder of geek97, which trains developers on various technologies such that they can be job-ready and organizes India's largest Angular Conference - ng-India. He is also the author of the best-selling book on Angular, Angular Essential.

  1. Optimizing Angular for size

Building applications ready for production includes thinking about the bundle size. No one wants to use an app that takes forever to load.

There is a lot of what you can do to affect how big your app will be.
We won't go too deep into the concepts but we'll cover most of the techniques that are there to help you.

Angular and it's CLI provides very nice and ready-to-use solutions that reduce your bundle size.
This includes AOT, tree-shaking, minification, conditional polyfills but also lazy-loading, code splitting and differential loading.

We'll also touch the topic of compression, assets, fonts and tools to help you see optimisation opportunities.
