🗣️ Talk 1: Unleashing the Power of Ivy - David Leitner @duffleit

ABSTRACT: "Angulars new compiler Ivy changed everything." Did it? In this talk, we'll see how much Ivy has really shaken Angular's foundations. We will dig deep into the changes of working with new, but also exiting Angular Apps. You will understand that Ivy is like the start of a new journey, and this talk provides you tickets to be part of it in the first row. Ok, this was a metaphor - you will not get real tickets - but you will get the needed knowhow to be part of it also without tickets.

BIO: David is Co-Founder of SQUER, a Viennese Software Company, which is working with different stacks and environments, but always an overarching mission: connect ideas and provide impact - with technology. He spends much of his time on the frontlines tackling the challenges of scaling software and complex domains. David enjoys sharing his knowledge as a speaker at conferences and as a lecturer for his post-diploma courses at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Vienna.

🗣️ Talk 2: Getting started with Bazel - Erik Kudra @ekudra

ABSTRACT: Are you a user of Angular CLI? Maybe yes. It is one of the easiest ways how to start. Create a new project, serve, code, build, deploy. It offers everything that you need (e.g., scaffolding, bundling), and it's fast as well. Or no?
During this talk, we will focus primarily on the building of the Angular application. Benefits of using productions build during the development process and how to improve building time with using Bazel as a build tool. On the other hand, Bazel maybe cures your headache, which you have as soon as you run your code with ahead of time compilation, and many red lines appear.

BIO: Erik is a programmer that loves Angular and IoT technologies. Erik believes that the idea behind the software is to bring value mainly for users, but during the creation, he keeps in mind the developer's experience as well. These days as a lead developer at Senacor, his main goal is taking care of frontend parts of several projects and constant improvement of their quality. Outside of work, Erik is an avid smart-home maker and beer crafter.
