June Meetup: IoT PWA IRL FTW (LOL)

Details
OH YEAH! The June Angular meetup is going to be awesome! We have a very special guest with us - Tara Manicsic from Progress/Telerik/KendoUI - AND we're teaming up with Women Who Code! WATCH OUT!
Food starts at 6, talks start at 6:30!
HUGE THANKS to Progress for sponsoring our food and CDK for hosting!
Phillip Kerman will be kicking us off with a lightning talk at 6:30, and then we'll have our main talk from Tara.
Info on our main talk:
Title: IoT PWA IRL FTW (LOL)
Description: Progressive Web Apps are not replacing native mobile applications any time soon. Don’t disregard them just yet! They can take our web applications that we currently have running In Real Life. By using support for offline caching, push notifications, home screen icons and more, we can use PWAs to make our apps more reliable and engaging, For The Win!
We will walk through creating a simple Angular IoT application using the Kendo UI for Angular library to get started. Then we’ll see how quickly we can upgrade our application to a PWA. Looking into each addition, we’ll discuss why and how this progresses our application.
Our Speaker: Tara (@tzmanics (http://twitter.com/tzmanics)) is a developer advocate for Progress, life-long student, teacher and maker. She has spent her coding career using Javascript on both back-end and front-end to create applications. In her free time she works in her community to educate and learn from other developers. Tara launched the Cincinnati Chapter of Women Who Code and Co-Chairs the Cincinnati branch of NodeSchool. She is currently traveling from user group to user group in her 1977 Apache camper with her trusty sidekick, #toshmagosh.
