Description: AWS Lambda has a lot under the hood! In this talk my hope is to expose some more details about its inner workings. We'll discuss topics like cold boot, environment variables, pessimistic caching, asynchronous invocation, and dead letter queues. The goal is to give you a more well rounded understanding of the eco-system that surrounds lambda, and how to use it effectively.

Bio: I've been working with NodeJs for about 2 years now. I've been working with AWS in a production capacity for almost 2 years with the last 8 to 10 months being focused primarily on serverless. API Gateway, Lambda and DynamoDB to be specific.
