🥾🍁 MT MANSFIELD & THE RETURN OF ROBIN — VERMONT FIVE PATCH SERIES! 🍁🥾

I’m back — and we’re kicking things off with a new Hiker Babes challenge & NH Ladies Hiking Meetup (my first with this group)! I am also in Australia for two months right now 💚

Just as a note, I also run the Northern New Hampshire Hiker Babes Chapter.

This November and December, we’re heading north to Vermont to take on the Vermont Five together, starting with the tallest mountain in Vermont: Mount Mansfield!
While the weather is still hopefully on our side, this is our chance to get #1 of 5 toward the Vermont Five patch.

I would LOVE to see everyone who wants to earn this patch sign up for the series and work toward completing all five mountains together. The Vermont Five isn’t quite as aggressive as tackling New Hampshire’s bigger lists, which makes stick season — as Noah Kahan sings — the perfect time for us to give it a go. 🍂🥾

🏔️ THE PLAN
We’ll begin with Mount Mansfield on November 7.

From there, we’ll continue through November and December to complete the remaining Vermont Five peaks. We may combine Mount Ellen and Mount Abraham into one longer hiking day, which would likely be our biggest day of the series. Depending on weather, trail conditions, and the group, we may also split them into two separate hikes.

Either way — five mountains, one patch,
and a lot of Turtle miles together. 🐢💚

🐢 TURTLE PACE — PLEASE READ
This hike is specifically for our Turtle hikers.
Expected pace: approximately 1–1.5 mph.

🐢 ONLY TURTLES ALLOWED! 🐢
This is a group hike, and we will stay together. If you naturally hike faster, you will be expected to slow down and maintain the group pace. If you are unable or unwilling to remain with the group, you may be asked to exit at the nearest appropriate trail exit.
No Turtle gets left behind. 💚
