Colin Schleifer has spent 25 years in the investment management industry, working in distribution leadership roles at several of the world’s largest investment firms. During the pandemic, Colin began looking for ways to diversify his investment portfolio beyond traditional markets and, in 2021, started investing in multifamily real estate. Today, his background in traditional investments, combined with his experience as a hands-on real estate investor, gives him a uniquely balanced perspective on how real estate can fit alongside traditional investing in equities, bonds, and other investments in building long-term wealth. His “why” for investing in real estate is simple: to provide financial security for his family through unexpected changes in employment, build a reliable source of income for retirement, and create a lasting legacy that can help his children as they build lives and families of their own.
