What we’re about
Nia Yoni Sisterhood is a healing space for Black & Brown women 30+ navigating life with fibroids, PCOS, and infertility. Led by me, Eboni Faulkner-Gailes, LMHC, a therapist who’s walking this path too—this is the space I wish I had when I received my fibroid diagnosis. This sisterhood is about more than just our symptoms and the trauma that this journey inflicts—it’s about creating community, being seen AND heard, choosing joy, and supporting one another through the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual layers of our journey.
Who should join:
This space is for Black & Brown women who need sisterhood while dealing with reproductive health challenges. Women who are curious about reproductive health are also welcome to join.
What we’ll do:
We’ll have regular virtual wellness chats that are open to Black and Brown women everywhere, no matter where you call home. Our monthly in-person gatherings will be based in Georgia—think laid-back dinners, soul-soothing spa days, healing conversations, day trips, and special guests who speak to our journey. If we plan something in another city, you’ll have all the details in advance. Some events will be light and playful, others will go deep—but every one will be rooted in connection, care, and sisterhood.
Fees:
There’s no fee to join the group, but some events may have a small cost to cover meals, materials, or guest speakers. I’ll always post details in advance so you know what to expect.
Fundraiser Info:
I created this group to raise awareness and provide resources. We are disproportionately represented in this area and often ill-informed of potential reproductive challenges. Early detection is key in ensuring that we receive proper care and preserve our reproductive health. Funds raised will go directly to ultrasound costs for uninsured women of reproductive age and community events to encourage ultrasound testing.
I'm looking forward to meeting you at one of my events! Let’s take up space, release shame, and redefine our next chapter—together.
