A mountain hike that has everything

Details
Our first hike on Sunday, June 8th, has just about everything--a well-marked shaded trail up a mountain, with steep climbs, some rock scrambling, babbling brooks and fabulous views. If you look closely at the picture above, you can see the New York Skyline in the distance. The 2.3 mile hike will last an estimated two hours, plus or minus, including an hour and a half of moving time plus about a half hour of breaks for water and snacks. We will hike at a comfortable pace of about two miles an hour and the trail is rated as "moderate" on the Alltrails app, which is free to download.
We will meet Sunday at 9 am sharp at Kakiat County Park, 592 Haverstraw Rd, Suffern, NY 10901. This hike is not for beginners, and you will be expected to keep up. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and brng two liters of water, along with some snacks. Poles might come in handy, if you have them.
