Castle Loop Trail

This is the 3-mile moderate hike, Castle Loop Trail in AllTrails, with some terrific views Ramapo Mountain State Forest is a great spot for hikers and mountain biking enthusiasts, with its network of trails running around the park. This trail takes you around the park via East Shore Drive, the White Trail, and Foxcroft Road. You'll see the spectacular Ramapo Lake Brook and the century-old Van Skyle Castle Ruins along the path. The trail features rocky sections, lush green surroundings, stellar views, and wildlife sightings. You'll also see Ramapo Lake, Ramapo Lake Dam, and a beautiful viewpoint on the top of Castle Point.
