Fellow Bitcoiners and cryptocurrency enthusiasts, join us for a presentation and coffee at Arabica Coffee House on Wednesday November 30th at 19:30 in Nicosia.
Dimitris Tsapakidis, an Information Security consultant and Bitcoin meetup organizer (Linkedin, Twitter) will present on:
- Why taking custody of your Bitcoin and other cryptoassets from exchanges is a good idea
- Protecting your Bitcoin from theft, destruction or your own demise
- Using mobile phone wallets, desktop wallets, hardware wallets, cold storage and multisig
- How to safely backup your cryptocurrency seed phrase and restore it into another wallet
- Making sure your family can access your keys in the future
The presentation will be in English and will take place in the meeting room on the first floor. Afterwards we will move to the main cafe seating area for our regular coffee & chat session. Sample discussion topics:
