Solving Game Dev Problems With Code [NIGDN x NIDC]
Details
NI Game Dev Network has joined forces with the NI Developer Conference to host an extra special meetup as part of NIDC Meetup Fest!
Join us on Monday 12 September as we host an open space discussing game programming and solving game dev problems with code. This event is open to anyone interested - we’d love to welcome everyone into the game dev and meetup community!
The NI Game Dev Network is the community for everyone interested in making games in Northern Ireland, from accomplished studio heads to students just getting started in the industry. Knowledge sharing, building connections, and having the craic is the point of these events!
Geeks, game dev professionals, academics, innovators, students, hobbyists, investors, and folks just curious in learning more about game development are welcome. The more diverse the group the better!
So sign up, come on down, grab a slice of pizza or two, meet like-minded folks, and share your experiences!
We will have food and drinks provided at 5:30 with the event starting at 6pm.
We are currently looking for speakers to share casual lightning talks of around 10-15 minutes. Interested? Message us directly on MeetUp, on Twitter, or email us at [info@nigame.dev](mailto:info@nigame.dev)!

This event is part of the NIDC Meetup Fest. NIDC Meetup Fest is dedicated to bringing together the NI tech communities and presenting a festival full of different Meetup events! NIDC is a volunteer-run, independent conference running in Northern Ireland since 2017. We’re working together to create a stronger, more connected tech community and better work opportunities for people in the tech sector in Northern Ireland. A special thank you to NI Screen for supporting us with the venue for this event (The Pixel Mill).

P.S: As this is an NIDC special event, It’d be extra nice to see folks from outside games in the NIDC/NI tech community join us, so don’t be afraid if you don’t work in games or haven’t been to one of our previous events - we'd love to have you!
