Full Harvest Moon! 🌕🍁 🥾

Hello Moonlighters! My schedule is clear, so I'm climbing up Will Rodger's park to watch the Harvest Moon rise over LA! This may be my last hike of the year as I'm taking off to film October - January.

The Harvest Moon is the closest full moon to the Autumn Equinox, which is coming this Sunday. Times they are a'changin'

This is a super easy hike for all levels. If you care to do more, there is an option to extend.

I"ll be waiting at the trailhead (close to the restrooms) 6:15 and will start walking at 6:25. Moon rises at 6:55. If you are late, it's easy to find your way to the top (AKA Inspiration Point: https://maps.app.goo.gl/KPB5svqTczaVLoSy7)

• Parking: Don't park in the official lot or you could get sealed in after sunset. There is some parking on Will Rodgers State Park Road (on the right side) and there is parking in those little suburbs off to the left (only restrictions on the weekends to my knowledge, but double check).
• Dogs: Seem to be fine on the trails we'll be on.

I recommend you bring:
*A warmer layer to throw on after sunset (might not need it, but it's sure nice to have when you do!)
*Shoes with good grip
*Walking sticks if you need help with stability
*A liter or more of water
*A headlamp or a charged phone that has a flashlight on it

As per tradition, when we get to the top, there will be a chance to circle up and share one good thing that happened during the last moon cycle and one thing you hope to achieve in the next (no pressure.. you can pass!).
