Meetup Description: Beginning Salsa/Merengue Lessons
** 3 Wednesdays, January 7/14/28 in 2009 (no class on 12/21/2009)
** 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
** Cafeteria of Emmitt D Williams Elementary School, 955 County Road D, Shoreview, MN 55126 (Part of the Roseville School District; tentative location subject to change)
** Cost of $39 per person for this six hour three sessions class.

Exotic, sensual, high-energy Salsa dances are hot! Join the latest craze of Salsa dancing. Have fun learning the basics of the most popular Salsa dances - Merengue, and Salsa. Combine the beginning level steps learned in this class with your creativity, and strut your moves on many dance floors and Salsa parties in Minnesota or South of the Border.

This is a great first class for new dancers who want to learn basic steps and Latin dancing skills.

Beginning level classes: No previous dance background is expected. But we welcome people with experience.

Sign up with or without a partner.
** On an average, these classes have about 50% who come with a partner.
** For those who come without a partner, we change partners frequently to make sure that everybody gets to practice with a partner.
** If you come with a partner and don't want to change partners, that is fine too.

Singles, couples, teens, families, and groups welcome. Bring your kids, bring
your families, bring your friends.
