Return to Crosley Lanes

Details
It's been a while since we've gone bowling together as a group—longer than I would've intended, even, since our last trip to Big Al's was preempted by several hundred thousand shouting UFC fans (give or take). We last visited Crosley Lanes just over a year ago, and in all that time I haven't forgotten my vow to return. For those of you who weren't able to make the last trip, don't miss this opportunity to knock down some pins in one of the most charming and well-preserved retro bowling alleys in the state.
We'll meet in the spacious bar area for some pre-game grub and booze, then hit the lanes when cosmic bowling begins at 8:00. At only $35 per lane, this is among the few remaining ways to affordably have fun on a Saturday night. You should even have enough left over to contribute a couple bucks toward a pitcher of beer for the group. Because flat, room-temperature beer is scientifically proven to make you a better bowler.
This event is being cross-posted with our good friends at Vancouver Breweries and Taphouses, a group that centers around... competitive quilt making, I think? I can't remember. In any case, it's a great community that already shares a number of members with NLC. Be sure to check out their group if you haven't already.
To answer the most common question I get with these events, yes, you're welcome to attend even if you don't plan on bowling. Crosley Lanes offers pool tables and some arcade games, plus a full bar and restaurant. Rumors also tell of multiple glory holes near the employee restroom, but you'll have to investigate that on your own.
