Late August is an exciting time to live in the PNW. Festival season is in full swing, farmers markets are filled with produce at the peak of ripeness, and everyone is busy checking off any remaining items on their summer to-do lists before Labor Day slams down on us like the blade of a guillotine. I find myself inspired to get in one more bar crawl while the days are warm and nights are still short enough to feel alive and crackling with magic. You can view our route below, then scroll down for a Q&A about the event if you'd like some additional info.

1. Pour Choices Pub (7:00 - 8:30pm)
2. Elbow Room (8:30 - 9:30pm)
3. Wahi Hana Tiki Bar (9:30 - 10:30pm)
4. Thirsty & Hungry Sasquatch (10:30 - 11:30pm)
5. Tip Top Tavern (11:30 - 1:00am)

Q: Why are we going in a loop instead of just working our way north?
A: Because Pour Choices closes early and Wahi Hana is often near or at capacity until the dinner rush clears out. As Sun Tzu famously said, "The most straightforward path is often to getting your ass kicked, actually."

Q: Five stops is a lot. Do I have to drink at every single place?
A: Absolutely not. If you want to advertise the fact that you're a sopping wet blanket who hates having fun, that's perfectly fine.

Q: How will I know where to find the group if I arrive late?
A: I plan on sticking to the schedule posted above as closely as possible; if we end up deviating from the plan, then I'll post a comment here alerting everyone.

Q: I've never been to some of these places before. Where are they?
A: Please see the handy Google Maps screenshot I posted displaying our route. Alternatively, feel free to look up the information yourself with whatever internet-enabled device you're currently using to view this page.

Q: That sounded a little passive-aggressive. Are you only utilizing this Q&A format because you're fed up with people showing up late to events and urgently demanding information you already provided in the description text while you're in the middle of trying to manage a crowd of drunk people all competing for your attention?
A: That does it. This interview is OVER!
