Fall in the Hudson Valley is pure magic—bright foliage, crisp mountain air, gorgeous views, and of course… plenty of German food and beer! Join us for a one-of-a-kind Oktoberfest Day Trip that combines everything you love about autumn into one adventure.
Think: a scenic hike, apple picking, a cozy Oktoberfest feast, games by a bonfire, and an optional stroll across one of the most breathtaking walkways in New York. 🍁✨
🍎 What’s in store:
Meet in Poughkeepsie
Take the 8:55am Metro-North or drive and meet us at 10:57am
Your guide will scoop you up in our comfy van and kick off the fun!
Hike at Shaupeneak Ridge
An easy 2-mile trail (about 1 hour) with stunning foliage views. Level 3-4/10.
Orchard Visit
Pick fresh apples and stock up on farm-fresh veggies.
Oktoberfest Feast at NYSN Adventure House
Bratwurst, Knockwurst, Weisswurst, Potato Pancakes, Schnitzel, sauerkraut, red cabbage, German beer, hot cider & more!
Games + a roaring bonfire to keep the party vibes strong.
The Adventure house is a private property nestled in the woods that you will love!
Walkway Across the Hudson (optional)
End the day with jaw-dropping views before catching the train back.
🕑 Trip Details:
Return on the 4:50pm or 5:50pm train to NYC
Cost: $140 (or $125 for Lifetime VIP members)
Includes transportation, hike + orchard + Oktoberfest experience, meal & drinks, guide fees, taxes & tips.
Train fare & personal purchases not included.

Comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers with treads
