日本語コネクション - Nihongo Connection - Japanese Conversation Club

We are a Japanese Conversation Club in Edinburgh!

We meet almost every week on Friday evening to practise our Japanese, make new friends and have fun. In order to provide a good opportunity to practice your hard studied language skills, we try to use only Japanese throughout the meetup.
All levels of speaking ability are welcome!

「日本語コネクション」は、日本語を勉強している人と日本人の為の会話クラブです。毎週の金曜日に集まって、日本語で会話をします。その後に自由参加のお食事会もあります。
たまにカラオケやピクニック等のイベントも開催されています。是非参加してみてください。楽しい会話をきっかけに、新しいお友達と出会いましょう！

This group is for you if:

• You are learning Japanese.

• You are a native-language Japanese speaker looking for more chances to speak Japanese.

• You want to make new friends that can speak Japanese.

• You want to improve your confidence and fluency when speaking Japanese.

• You want to improve your Japanese language abilities beyond what you can learn from textbooks, drama and anime.

• You would like to help others with their learning and spread awareness of Japanese language and culture.

• You are planning to visit Japan and need to invest in some language practice.

Come and join our friendly club! £2 admission for learners, free for those who speak Japanese natively, all levels welcome!

While we meet at a university-provided space, we are not a students-only group and are not affiliated with the University of Edinburgh.

Just so you know: the admission fee is charged on the spot with a card reader, and applies to learners only. We use it to purchase a drink for our native speaking teachers as well as to cover costs of running the meetup (e.g. the bi-annual meetup.com fee).
