Zō Village — 30 Days in the Japanese Alps

What happens when 20 strangers live, work, and build together for a full month in a mountain lodge?

Zō Village is a 30-day residential experience for entrepreneurs, creators, and builders. August 2–31, 2026, in Akakura Onsen, Myoko — a quiet hot spring town nestled in the Japanese Alps of Niigata.

This isn't a coworking retreat. It's not a conference. It's a month-long experiment in what happens when you remove the noise, share a space with people who are actually building things, and let a place reshape how you think.

What you get: A renovated hinoki (Japanese cypress) lodge. Natural hot springs. Locally sourced meals. Mountain air. And 29 other days with people you didn't know on Day 1.

What you bring: Your work. Your curiosity. A willingness to show up — not just physically, but as a person.

The concept: Zō (蔵・増・造) — contain, compound, create. Most experiences are consumed once and forgotten. Zō Village is designed to compound: the relationships, the ideas, and the version of yourself that only emerges when you stay long enough.
