What to expect: a short walk along the Waalkade in Nijmegen and a relaxed afternoon at the beach and some drinks and food on the boat.

We’ll start at our meetingpoint Nijmegen Central Station and begin our walk from there.
The route is about 8 kilometers and will take approximately 3 to 4 hours, including breaks.

Our walk will lead us to a cozy beach area at ''De Kaaij' a well-loved local spot where we’ll settle in for a laid-back afternoon and evening.

There is a lovely boat where we can grab something to eat or drink if you'd like.

For the beach:
Bring your towel and possibly your swimwear if you’d like to take a refreshing dip. Feel free to also bring things like a volleyball, badminton set, your speaker, or anything else you can think of to enjoy the day.
It’s going to be a warm and sunny day, so stay hydrated and bring enough to drink, sunscreen, and of course food and some snacks for the day.

The plan is to stay at the beach until the sunset, which is expected around 9:30 PM, a perfect, golden ending to a day spent outdoors. After that, we'll make our way back to Nijmegen Central Station together. If you prefer to leave earlier, you're absolutely free to do so at a time that feels best for you.
