What we’re about
Welcome to the Nimatullahi Sufi Center Houston.
Each week, we gather to practice silent meditation, listen to the poetry of Sufi masters, and share reflections on spiritual love and the unity of being.
Our meetings are calm, simple, and open to anyone—no prior experience with Sufism or meditation is needed.
We follow the living tradition of the Nimatullahi Sufi Order, a school of practical mysticism that emphasizes love, service, and inner transformation. Through companionship and the remembrance of God, we seek to awaken the heart and live more compassionately in the world.
What to Expect
• Short introductions for newcomers
• 50-60 minutes of silent meditation
• Readings from Rumi, Hafez, and modern Sufi teachers
• Space for reflection, discussion, and fellowship
