About us
新宿中央公園に集まり、公園でスケッチや絵を描きながら気軽におしゃべりをするカジュアルなグループです。新宿エリアで気楽にアーティスト仲間を作りたい方なら、初心者や初めての方を含め、あらゆるレベルのアーティストを歓迎します。参加費は無料ですが、集まりの後に近くのカフェで食事やコーヒーを楽しむこともあります。どなたでもお気軽にご参加ください。
日時：
毎週土曜日、午前10時から正午頃まで（時間が延びることもあります）。全時間参加しても、少し立ち寄るだけでも構いません。
（私が参加できない場合は、必ずグループに連絡します）
場所：
新宿中央公園の芝生エリア。混雑状況により、毎週場所が少し変わる場合があります。私は通常、緑色の帽子をかぶって芝生エリアのどこかで描いているので、見つけやすいと思います（笑）。
持ち物：
画材、そして必要であれば座るためのブランケットなど。
普段、予備のペンや鉛筆は用意していますが、念のためご自身のものをお持ちください。
私は日本語と英語の両方が話せますが、ただ静かに絵を描きたいという方も大歓迎です。とても気楽な集まりにしたいと思っていますので、無理をせずに気楽に参加してください。
A casual group that meets at Shinjuku Chūō Park for sketching and drawing in the park with casual discussions. Welcome to all levels of artists even beginners and first timers, for those who want to make artist friends in a laid back way in the Shinjuku area. Participation is free but sometimes after the meetup I go to a nearby café for food, coffee — anyone is welcome to join.
When:
Every Saturday and starts from 10am till around 12pm though it may go longer. Feel free to stay for the full time or just stop by for a little while.
(unless I am unable to make it, I will be sure to notify the group if that is to be the case)
Where:
Shinjuku Chūō Park lawn area, depending how busy it is, the exact spot may vary slightly each week. I’m usually wearing a green hat and drawing somewhere around the lawn area, so hopefully I should be easy to spot haha.
What to bring:
Drawing materials, and a blanket or something to sit on if you want.
Though I usually have spare pens and pencils, please bring your own just in case.
I speak both Japanese and English, but if you just want to come and draw in silence I also welcome that; I hope to create a very casual meetup so don't worry about pushing yourself.
