Yellow Brick Road Night Dive
Details
Meeting up with another group to dive yellow brick road Sunday (01-25). The Yellow Brick Road consists of a path made from cinder blocks, extending approximately 800 feet long and 30 feet wide. This structure was originally part of an outfall pipe system and now serves as a habitat for various marine creatures..
Divers can expect to see a variety of small critters, including Pederson cleaner shrimp, porcupinefish, lobsters, and occasionally nurse sharks. The site is known for its macro photography opportunities due to the abundance of marine life hiding in the nooks between the blocks.
This is a Great night dive. I've seen several octopus at night on YBR.
