It's time for a new NixOS release, 23.05 Stoat! 🎉
For a month before release, NixOS is in ZERO Hydra Failures stage. During this time, the community tries to fix all of the Hydra build failures in Nixpkgs. You can read more about the process here.
Let's meet up to hack on Nixpkgs together! This event is aimed at all skill levels, so it is a great opportunity to learn Nix and how to become a contributor.

- 10:15 - Lightning talk: How Nix is maintained (Eelco Dolstra)
- 10:20 - Lighting talk: A Year in Documentation (Valentin Gagarin)
- 10:25 - Lighting talk: ZHF Contribution Workflow (Silvan Mosberger)
- 10:30 - Let the hacking begin! ⚔️
12:00-18:00 - Workshop track:
- 12:00-12:45 - Introductions, brainstorming issues
- 13:00-13:45 - Drawing an architectural diagram of the Nix ecosystem, clustering and mapping issues
- 14:00-16:00 - Working groups: tackling issue clusters, writing RFCs
- 16:30-18:00 - Presentations
- 19:00 - Hackathon wrap-up (Alex Drake)
- 19:30 - Group photo 📸

Food, drinks, coffee, tea, swag, and friendly mentors are all provided. All we need is some fun company. Bring as many friends as you can! 🙂
