Tripod Rock Hike & Potluck Brunch

Join us for a 3.9-mile loop hike to the infamous Tripod Rock with a 527-foot elevation gain. We’ll hike in a counterclockwise direction down to the reservoir. While most of the trail is easy to moderate, there are a few challenging sections. If you’d like to tackle these, we’ll support each other through them — teamwork makes it fun!

Indoor and portable facilities available. Please allow time to use as hike will start on time

• Date: Saturday April 26th

• Prompt Start Time: 9:15 AM (Arrive by 9:00 AM for introductions and a prayer)
• Parking: Three options will be provided soon — please allow time to find a spot.

Post-Hike Potluck Brunch:

After the hike, I’m hosting a potluck brunch at my house, just 2.5 miles down Boonton Ave. It’s a common tradition in my cycling and running groups — a time to relax, refuel, and enjoy great company.
• Start Time: Around 11:30 AM

• What I’m Providing:
• A baker’s dozen of bagels with assorted spreads
• Eggs and pancake mix for those interested in making omelets or pancakes
• Ingredients for omelets and syrup for pancakes
• Coffee/Tea
• Yogurt and toppings
