Experience the Saxophone Like Never Before with Scottie Wright at St Peter’s Episcopal Church
Join us for an unforgettable program of American and French classical music, showcasing the expressive power and surprising range of the saxophone. The afternoon features:
• John Harbison’s bold, swaggering San Antonio Sonata
• Fernande Breilh-Decruck’s lush, Neo-Romantic sonata—composed during WWII by a rediscovered French female composer
• Henry Cowell’s elegant Air and Scherzo
• William Bolcom’s explosive Lilith
If you’ve never heard the saxophone in a classical setting, prepare to be surprised.
