TLDR: new earlier start time starting at Doubles by Human Robot.

This Meetup is for those in the group with a sense of adventure! We’ll be sharing secrets, getting a wee bit of exercise, and tasting some great beer!

First stop, and first call, is at the new Lambertville location of Invertase Brewing. They have taken up residence at the former River Horse Brewing location. It’s a bit tucked away, but there is enough parking. Just keep heading back down the lane.

In fact, free parking in Lambertville is our first secret! Since we will be leaving for a while after our Invertase visit, try and park towards the back of the lot and not right in front of the brewery.

Here is the Lambertville location Tap list

After Invertase we will be walking about 3/4 mile over to New Hope and our second brewery. It is also our second secret! We will be visiting Doubles by Human Robot.

Anyone who is familiar with the Philly beer scene has heard of Human Robot. Doubles is a combination of the owners love for baseball cards, as well as beer. The owners are doing more to advertise this location since it hasn’t gained as much traction as their other sites. Which is to say we should visit before the secret gets out.

Their New Hope tasting room is accessed via outdoor stairs, going down towards the canal. Great beer and a fun vibe. Doubles tap list

You’re welcome to drive over to New Hope, but as a relative local, I avoid it like the plague on the weekends. It’s hard to find parking, and it is not free. If walking that distance is a challenge, Uber/Lyft (I think we have those services 🤷‍♀️) might be a better option. Check before hand.

There are numerous food options in both Lambertville and New Hope. The hardest part is choosing a cuisine. There is also Triumph Brewery in New Hope that serves food.

Invertase is in the Reel Craft Passbook. I will update the event when the group moves over to Pennsylvania. This will be a great event for those who are looking for a brewery day trip. Walking between the two breweries will help you assess your sobriety level (another secret). As always drink responsibly.

Final secret (at least from my side), if you’re coming from a distance and want to get another RCP stamp, Odd Bird Brewing is just 3 miles up the road from Lambertville, and well worth the visit. I host there frequently, but if you don’t make it to southern Hunterdon County that often it is worth stopping there.
